Maxime Langlois-Morin

I help people put technology to work.

I bring nine years at QuickMobile and Cvent to hands-on implementation, automation, and applied AI.

Selected projects

These projects grew out of specific problems: publishing vehicle listings, organizing a move, controlling agent access, and reviewing game decisions. I shaped the workflows and directed AI-assisted development.

Dealership automation

Operational tool · February-June 2026

Prepare vehicle listings for staff to review.

New arrivals, price changes, and sold vehicles all affect a dealership’s listings. I worked with staff to turn those rules into repeatable publishing workflows.

Python · REST APIs · Browser automation
1,500+vehicle listings published

~92,000 buyer page views across two dealerships

My role and approach
My contribution

I gathered requirements directly from dealership staff and turned them into workflow rules and acceptance criteria. I directed AI-assisted development, tested against real inventory, and used staff feedback to refine the tool.

What the project does

Staff at Harris Kia and Nanaimo Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram used the tool to publish more than 1,500 listings. Those listings received roughly 92,000 buyer page views from February through June 2026. These are combined usage figures across both dealerships. The later Tightbeam dealership product is now archived.

Manifest

Independent project · 2026

Know what’s packed and where it went.

Manifest helps a household decide what to keep, sell, donate, or discard, then track items through packing and a move.

Go · Vue / TypeScript · PostgreSQL
Photo capture in Manifest
Application screenshot, May 2026. Proposed items are reviewed before saving.
My role and approach
My contribution

I designed the inventory and packing workflows and developed the application with AI assistance. QR labels connect boxes to their contents. Household roles support shared access, and CSV imports bring existing inventory into the application.

What the project does

Photo capture proposes items for review before adding them to inventory. Users can also export a PDF moving manifest.

Agent Vault

Independent developer tool · 2026

Control which credentials an AI agent can use.

Agent Vault gives each agent specific permissions to credentials stored in Vaultwarden. Access can be limited to individual items and revoked when needed.

TypeScript · MCP · SQLite · WebAuthn
Per-agent permissionswith revocable access

Separate read and write grants for stored credentials

My role and approach
My contribution

I designed the access rules and directed AI-assisted development of the service. The work includes time-limited, single-use credential handoffs and an administration console protected by passkeys.

What the project does

The handoffs are designed to keep credential values out of agent conversations. Permissions and audit records are stored separately from the secrets. This is a self-hosted developer tool.

MTGA-Assistant

Independent AI project · 2026

Review game decisions using the match record.

MTGA-Assistant uses MTG Arena collection data and match logs to support retrospective coaching. Advice can account for owned cards and available replay evidence.

Python · FastAPI · React / TypeScript
Match logsinform the assessment

Missing game evidence is identified in the review

My role and approach
My contribution

I defined the requirements and AI behaviour, then directed development with Claude Code. I reviewed generated code, designed test data, and investigated parsing and replay failures. The project includes a read-only replay viewer.

What the project does

The system reconstructs match timelines and flags missing evidence. Coaching assessments are checked against a defined format, with corrective retries when needed. The work remains an independent project.

How I work with AI

I’ve followed AI closely since 2022 and started building applications with it in 2025. That work has taught me to define tasks clearly, review generated code, and test what happens when a model gets something wrong.

Start with the workflow

I look at how people do the work today and decide where an existing tool, automation, or AI could help.

Check what the model produces

I review code and test workflows against concrete examples. When evidence is incomplete, I want the system to say so.

Set limits on what it can do

I use explicit permissions and human approval for consequential actions. Application code controls records and execution.

Experience

My background is in helping customers use technology. Over more than 20 years, that has meant resolving support issues, coordinating deployments, and getting equipment working on site.

2026 - present

Tightbeam Systems

Founder & AI Automation Consultant

I founded Tightbeam in May 2026, initially developing dealership software. Since September, I’ve focused on practical AI consulting and automation for small and medium-sized businesses.

FEB - MAY 2026

Harris Kia

Product & Automation Lead

I worked with dealership staff to define publishing rules and build automation around their inventory. Testing and staff feedback guided each iteration.

2016 - 2025

QuickMobile / Cvent

Escalations, product consulting & project delivery

I progressed through escalation management and product consulting into project delivery. As Senior Associate Project Manager, Professional Services (August 2020 to November 2025), I managed OnArrival implementations from kickoff through post-event debrief. My work included equipment logistics, customer training, and onsite troubleshooting.

2013 - 2016

Avigilon

Technical Support Specialist

I helped integrators and end users diagnose IP camera, configuration, and network issues. I also trained new team members in troubleshooting and product support.

2007 - 2012

Bilingual customer & technical support

At PayPal, I supported customers and frontline agents with account, billing, and access issues. Earlier, I provided support for Microsoft products and services through NCO / RMH.

Let’s talk about your team.

I’m looking for a role in implementation, technical project delivery, or customer-facing technical work. I’d welcome the chance to apply my AI and automation experience. I work in English and French. Based in Mont-Saint-Grégoire, I’m open to remote, hybrid, and onsite roles.
